Greenwald has horrible formula of creating negative stories.

X did bad. X is connected to Y. Add some some innuendo. Now Y is bad.

This is ad hominem and doesn't remotely reflect the substance of the article. I personally don't like Greenwald either, but he makes a decent point here about the ACLU's actions. And it's especially germane because that organization has a history of defending free speech in the face of great controversy and their willingness to do so was a tremendous public service.
This not ad hominem. I didn't attack Greenwads character.

I'm putting the argument under scrutiny, not the one who argues. I attacked his writing style. He has horrible way to use vague arguments just like he does in this case.
