My wife picks out tablet games for our kids. I know my kids like some of the Sesame Street games. During the pandemic, my four-year-old stared reading thanks to one of their letters games.
BTW, these games aren't very hard to find. Just start with looking at games from PBS and see what you find.

Otherwise there's retro gaming and emulation of course.
And personally I enjoyed the Crazy Machines series.
