This article is harmful noise, written by a reporter known to peddle anti-Tesla FUD. If you care about rapidly transitioning to a world where energy is carbon-free, you should care about supporting Tesla. They make solar roofs, battery storage, and the world's most efficient electric vehicles. They have done more to change the course of the auto industry on this front than anyone else, and it's time that we show them some respect.
I've always wondered why people take time to comment like this. Do you really think this multi billion dollar corporation is truly "good"? And why do you feel the need to shill for them? They have a PR department that spends millions and millions every quarter
Do you believe that the CO2 humans have put in the atmosphere in the past century or so is the primary cause of the melting ice in the arctic? Furthermore, do you believe that the legacy automakers would have decided to do something about it on their own, without competitive pressure from Tesla? I'd also like to know if you are aware of the history of GM's EV1 from the 1990s.
I think we'd all benefit by taking a step back and looking at the big picture. In some cases, knee-jerk anti-corporate cynicism is harmful...
