Social commentaries are confusing to me because to poo-poo or hooplah about how some Corporation(tm) is behaving completely sidelines the fact that, hey, these people aren't in my life. This is all vaporwave. All of politics is vaporwave, neurotic ramblings and myopic worldsense and ramming down peoples throats everything but miss the absolute nothing between us. I don't know you. I don't know people at Corporation(TM). I won't know you. I won't know the people at Corporation(TM). We aren't friends. I don't care about you. There's nothing to care about. You aren't in my life. There's no point pretending we still have a social contract.
But to acknowledge that is to also admit there is nothing to be done when you're going to Bowl Alone anyway. To appeal on some universality of what Is Good is ironically disregarding everyone's way of life, perspective - the complexity and absolute nonsensical appeals that we can somehow fit a solution when we're all acting in self-interest through masquerading as some morality when it's just more silencing, deep rooted scared feelings of being accepted. Belonging.
No, I don't belong here. I won't. Don't care what you do. There's no point listening to other people if they have no immediate impact on my life. I'm sick of pretending we do.
