Ask HN: Is Autocorrect degrading for Apple devices?

I’ve noticed over the last few months that my device will replace words I was going to type with completely unrelated words. Was very surprised to hear friends and family recently complaining about this as well; have YOU noticed a degradation in auto correct/auto complete’s performance over the last few months on Apple Devices?
