Ask HN: How to reduce migraine triggers for SWEs
I've been getting migraines pretty consistently (monthly) for the past 4-5 years and a trigger for me is light reflection into my eye.
This is a problem being a SWE and sitting in front of a monitor all day where light is bouncing off my monitors (or laptop) and onto my face. I'm also not sure whether light from the actual monitor(s) might be triggering as well.
I've tried installing matte filters on all monitors and the laptop screen, blue light lenses, near-work specific glasses, etc but am still searching for better alternatives.
Anybody got any tips?
