Waiving the vaccine IP is a blunder (unherd.com)

It's astounding to me that anyone is upset about vaccine manufacturers making a profit. They're saving millions of lives, reducing economic damage by trillions of dollars, and letting people get back to their lives months or years earlier. If we need to have their work made free to the world, we should be writing them checks with at least 10 zeros.
