I wonder how this will fare compared to Regolith [0], based on Ubuntu.

I've tried Regolith last year, based on Ubuntu 20.04, and it felt sluggish. Regular Ubuntu worked great and my usual install of i3 + picom on Arch works great, too.

The test was run on an i5-8500 with 32 GB RAM, UHD 630 graphics and 4K screen. The Arch install flies on a i5-6500 + 4K screen, too.

Regolith adds a lot of theming to i3, where Fedora keeps it just to the install and a few apps - a network manager widget, file manager, etc.
