Ask HN: Why Closure isn't as widely used as Scala?

My personal opinion ( happy to accept that I'm the odd one out) is that Scala is much harder to learn to use idiomatically.

Some seem to think Scala owns it's success to Spark jobs and Clojure was late to that party.
