I am interested in locating a definitive guide on how to set up modern application delivery in an organization that still hand-rolls Windows servers and copies application binaries to deploy web apps, but I am struggling to find a good jumping off point and a thorough guide that covers modern practices and tools, and how to implement them. Please share! Thanks!

Well, I am surprised how poor that went. I’ve been reading HN for probably a decade or so, commenting occasionally, but never had anything to ask - and always thought that if I did have a question one day, it’ll probably get at least some attention. I was really wrong.
