Got a 3d printer last week - Anycubic Mega X. I'm in love with it. From coffee cup holders to lamp shades to cable grips for my desk poor thing has been working basically 24 / 7 since I got it lol

1 - found thingiverse.com - amazing resource! Anything else like it?

2 - If you own one, how many do you own? Thinking about getting a 2nd one and using 1 for longer prints (15+ hours) and 1 for shorter prints (2 hours ish)

3 - Do any of you sell printed items on etsy? elsewhere? Need to make money from this investment! :) Ideally I don't want to print things from thingiverse.com and sell them (that sounds like steeling to me) but my own designs, why not?

4 - where else to go from here? Any benefit to printers with dual extruders? Any low cost of entry aluminum printers?

5 - any "hacker news" sites for 3d printing?

A friend of mine has partnered with comic shops and larp teams to do specific custom things for general games, tournaments, and more. He makes good money on this, by the way. He also prints on 2d printers for them some instructions and so on in the style of games. He also has 2 3D printers and 1 regular printer (it seems to me that he can become an ambassador https://www.mrdepot.ca/products/brother-dcp-l2550dw-toner because printed stylized instructions spend a lot of ink).
