This would be a more interesting read if they gave out some details of where they were stationed. Sounds like we know the cause(equipment malfunction) but it is too good of an opportunity to pass up on smearing more Russia/China bad. Interesting thing this article mentions China and Cuba, previous one had officials from DC as well. But hey I'm probably a shill because I dont believe these cheap tactics anymore. What sucks is they cant get the trust back even if these are legitimate attacks. You've made your bed.
Workplace injuries.

"Never ascribe to malice what can also be ascribed to incompetence."

These headlines are nonstop and the only consistency seems to be that the victims are getting really seriously injured and/or killed/driven to death.

And that the US government is largely keeping the victims in the dark.

Vicious all around.

> getting really seriously injured and/or killed/driven to death.

No one is getting seriously injured, beyond the technical medical jargon used and some mentions of MRIs

And I have been keeping an eye on this whole affair and have yet to read of any death or permanent injury, where did you read of supposed deaths?

Workplace injuries. Better to blame adversaries than leave yourself liable for a payout of millions in Workers' Compensation claims.
So shortly after the inconclusive fear mongering report that the government released, many people working in tense areas start complaining about the same problems. It seems perfectly crafted to maximize the placebo effect.
These reports remind me of the UFO/Alien propaganda and psychological operations of the 1990s
