When people say they are useless, it just points at the fact that they have a NEED to be useful. Unfortunately its hard work to meet that need.
I really like that Chuang Tzu quote but it isn't really true, for the vast majority of people, have no clue which tree produces cinnamon and which one produces varnish.
Very rarely do you come across someone who knows all the ways a particular tree can be used. And very rarely do you come across a tree that communicates clearly what it can be used for.
Some people dont know what they need or haven't learnt how to verbalize it.
Some people think they don't need anything, but keep showing up cause at an unconscious level some need they have is being met.
Some people are very clear about what they need, but want the need met from people who cant meet the need.
The only way to increase consciousness is to place 2 questions on the table -
what do you need from me?
and if the answer arrives - why do you feel I can meet the need?
These 2 questions are hardly ever asked and answered. So many people stay unconscious of the unique beauty in every single tree

It’s not saying that usefulness is useless. It’s just saying that we need to appreciate the value of what uselessness.
