How readable is a solar powered website? Because that two tone battery level background color is not helping.

I love this site. It's a deep mine of sustainable computing approaches. The part about using compressed air instead of batteries is fascinating.

The HW on which the web server underpinning the site runs may be solar powered, but what about the infrastructure to deliver the bits to and from?

I am not attempting to poo-poo the idea, merely wondering out loud (as it were) about all the intervening pieces of HW necessary for the web server to be reachable, and where to draw the separation.
