This was one of the saddest movies I've ever seen.
Why sad? I thought it was rather inspiring.
They have increadibly short lives for such intelligent creatures.

We eat them and in many cultures the death is horrific by any standard: eviscerated, and beaten to soften the flesh in an organism with a widely distributed brain.

The environment they live in is fragile, damaged and shrinking but is beautiful.

OK, fair enough, but that's not really the movie per se. That's just the life of octopi in general, which I grant you is very sad.
Adam Savage just posted a video the other day about his favorite life experience that he didn't think he'd done if not for MythBusters. And it was? Getting to know an octopus! It's a great video, but I also learned something: It's "octopusses" not "octopi". But after watching this, I want to meet an octopus.
