This imperfect repo creates a "perfect" website–a minimal, mostly-static, progressive Bible hosted at minimalbible.com. The code is fairly crappy, so if you can make or suggest an improvement, please feel welcome!
Liked the look and feel, missing the verses. It's good to do what it proposes: just show text and give basic navigation.

I would just alert users how/where the bookmarks are created, or even better, when they'll be lost if the user performs such-and-such task.

Thanks. I think that's a good idea -- I'll do it.
Yeah I agree, great overall, verses are the only thing missing.
Lol. I read that comment as "I like that the verses are missing." But now that you point it out, it's tough to say.

The reason I left out the verse numbers is that I use the iPhone text-to-speech tool on the way to work to have the robot-lady read it to me without using too much data (company phone). And it's annoying to hear numbers every other sentence.

Ah sorry I meant that it would be good if the verses are added.

Maybe it's possible to do some html hack so the verse numbers are displayed to users, but skipped by text to speech on iphone?
