As we were building Okteto (a cloud-native platform for developers), we saw developers complaining about the huge learning curve required to go from Docker Compose to Kubernetes. You need to create a new set of yaml manifests, manage template systems like Helm, learn new tools to redeploy your containers… and all this just to get your application running the same way Docker Compose does. At least, that was the case until today. We are happy to announce that you can now run your Docker Compose files in Kubernetes with Okteto!
