My quest to find the best solution to document an API
For a few days, I have been looking at different solutions available on the market allow me to create a nice API documentation. One easy to read, to test, to understand :-)
I've tested Postman, Stoplight, Swagger,... I think I've reached the end of my quest by getting my hands on Readme.io
I really like the possibility to test queries directly in the documentation. Stoplight allows it too, but I find it a bit less readable. On the other hand, Stoplight allows you to have a custom domain in the free offer and their Stoplight Studio to generate the Json of the APi is really great.
The only limitation I see with Readme.io is that you can't use a custom domain with the free offer. And the price of the pro offers goes up pretty fast, it starts as $99 per month.
Do you have any feedback on these solutions? Or any other solution to propose?
