With COVID around, even the most uninterested persons have to renegotiate what the net means to them. Is it part of the territory of the countries we live and work in? Just a communication tool? An international space? What is it to you?

I think the net is a place to represent who you are and do what you love or learn what you love. You'll find communities and articles and start ups and people, maps and info and forums, places and things to do, and just...people. I think it's an international space of people that evolves to what we do, and what we create.
I feel like that, too. What always gets me as so strange is how national authorities always want to fence it in, not understanding that - in my opinion - it can only really exist as such. That view is also the fundamental problem with public / private digital space and how our private digital homes get made public affairs...
