Unlike some little Hitlers, I don't feel any need to suppress information. I see no cause to be upset about Facebook failing to squash some viewpoints that some leftist found objectionable. If you have a point, make it with words rather than trying to use force to treat people like mushrooms.
Agreed. Although I think the reason most sites censor content like this isn't necessarily because of partisanship, but rather because they think it's harmful to society in general. Not that I agree, I just want to point it out
OK, I think I agree with you... they don't do what they do primarily because of allegiance to a faction. They have good intentions. But I guess over time I've come around to the idea that thinking oneself so superior to others that one is justified in controlling what people can hear or say is actually a political position that people commonly take. "I'm so much smarter / better informed / moral / whatever than others that it's correct when I put my hands over somebody's eyes or ears or mouth." This is considered normal now. People don't feel ashamed about it.
Yeah, that's usually associated with woke leftists these days. On the right, it isn't as common because being on the right isn't really a popular position to be in in this current political climate.
