I am curious about products or services you've had experience with that had a stellar vision but were badly implemented. What was it and how did it die on the vine? Bad UI/UX? Terrible customer service? Failure to scale or listen to customers?

Cyberpunk 2077. Stunning graphics and soundtrack, a setting with potential. Serious performance issues, lack of competent AI, many other corners cut.

Management did not listen to people "in the trenches", should have delayed it at least 1 year.

I think both google stadia and the nvidia competitor are basically the future of gaming, but I think someone else is going to do it right/better and win 90% of the market.

I agree that they're the future.

I disagree that anyone will get 90%. I think we'll see the same frustrating, fractured environment that we already have in video streaming.
