This is appalling.

We need to force multinational Western companies (like the NBA) or Western governments (like Germany and Italy), who make business with China like nothing is going on, to decide who‘s side they want to be on.

And I‘m not even talking about Uighurs, ignoring their holocaust is hipocritical enough (given all the minorities the West pretends to care about so much).

I am talking about sheer self-preservation, if the West as we know it wants to survive the Chinese Communist Party‘s grand plans (see latter part of the article).

I have no doubts that the stories about rape and torture in the camps are plausible.

That being said, would any government really show or keep classified plans about invading Europe in concentration camps, accessible by prisoners?

I wonder if this was either a) done intentionally by the authorities to discredit her b) thrown in by the victim with the other claims in order to add a sense of urgency to her claims

C) victim was not supposed to escape and talk d) was part of great China propaganda about how China will conquer the world
Also this seems fishy:

> Organs from Muslim donors are often preferred by other Muslims because they are “halal.”

I hope governments investigate further on those testimony , how can Chinese people stay silent about that? About such mass torture stories?
Why does this get so little attention compared to, for example, the Israeli Palestinian conflict? Everyone from social media users to journalists to politicians has squarely ignored the “real” settler colonialism incident.
Because the Chinese government use their money and invest in things like Reddit, newspapers, media companies, etc..

Let me ask you this. Why was it wrong to call COVID the China virus, but now it’s ok to call the COVID variant that sprung up in India, the Indian/India variant? One would assume it’s because the Chinese investors influence the American media companies they have a say in.

But I’m speculating of course.

My read was that the controversy around the naming of the virus was a desperate attempt to attack Trump and label him as xenophobic. The economy was in great shape and Trump was very likely to be re-elected before COVID and George Floyd. So those staunchly against him, which included the activist class as well as journalist class, were happy to take any small thing and manufacture an outrage and see if it sticks. Similarly discussions about origins and lab leaks were shut down because they would shift blame away from Trump and towards the CCP.

Is it possible it was due to Chinese influence? Maybe. But it could also be entirely due to domestic influences. Propaganda doesn’t have to be foreign. That said I do think the complete lack of coverage of the concentration camps in China ARE due to Chinese influence, both politically and economically.

Well they have already set foot in Hungary, where chinese workers are going to build a new railway line and a new university campus for Fudan, all paid by chinese loans.
