Main problem i have with the article after reading a few graphs is that the author makes it seem like reporters have the most say in what gets reported and how.

That's probably a common belief amongst most people but it's not true.

Owners/publishers/editors decide.

Reporters play a 5% role, if they're extremely influential.

On the other hand it was a reporter who brought back into the main discussion the lab leak hypothesis.
