I was glad to hear they have mostly sorted the issue on macos with the read-only system volume.

just tested it in a VM I was using to create some new install media for macOS, and it worked just fine :)

I hope they sort out GCC for easier and better cross compiler setup. Would be a huge step to removing one of the rough spots for targeting embedded systems.
