Don't know why the author thinks that haecceity is somehow going to tear down metaphysics.

Plato and Aristotle very much emphasized form & matter (hylomorphic theory), where the form provides the nature and the matter provides the "thisness", the specificity.

Morgan Meis needs an editor to trim the copious fat from their distressingly overwrought sentences. Stream of consciousness prose is fine when you don't waste half the page trying to 100% your conversational side quests, but I haven't disliked reading something so much in a long, long time.
