Not quite the same thing as "free". This is going to remove "I don't have a smartphone" as an argument against being monitored in various ways by your employer.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I’m imagining shift workers using the app to clock in and out, short notice shift changes and split shifts, all now easily organised to plan for for your life outside of work.
