Although you’re getting downvoted, this was my takeaway as well. “Better for touch” and “rounded corners.”
I used Windows 10 at my last job and it was actually pretty good. But I was shocked how ugly it was (and that was coming from Ubuntu). It's been fascinating to watch Windows desktop get progressively uglier for 20+ years¹. It will be interesting to see if they correct course.

Given that so many people still spend so much of their days looking at a Windows Desktop, I wonder if there is some aggregate loss to humanity in imagination, sanguinity, or otherwise by not having a prettier, more thoughtfully constructed virtual space.

¹Win7 seems like a bit of an exception if memory serves.

Is Control Panel finally getting an UI update?
