Ask HN: Ecology Charities for IT Volunteering

I am looking for a Climate change or Ecology related charities or social enterprises (pref. UK. Based) that or other developers could volunteer towards - for all the talk, most project i found so far are either dead or zombies.

Like many folks, we. i've got some volunteering hours provided by my e employer and i would like to use them productively.
