Only 100 km up, no orbit. Kind of neat and I wouldn't turn down a chance to do it, but travel to space to me means something quite different than this.

Not sure about insurance but I think it is not a coincidence that he does this after stepping down as CEO

I don't understand why a person would risk their life. Why not first establish a series of successful flights without humans first, and then with humans?
