Absolutely no one cares. My namesake nick was used to trade bitcoin on #bitcoin-otc No one gives a fuck We knew what IRC (advantage of being almost completely incomparable with the iPhone) was. I've long since lost the relevant GPG keys but I'm sitting here in a luxury apartment listening excellent Irish folk music. One day I'll rejoin the nuts on IRC. Once I get the power management on my pinephone worked out, maybe after I buy a power mac and put Plan9 on it as well.

I miss you guys.

Are they allowing server admins who can't even set up the most obvious of Q:lines to link to the network, or is this a simplification?

I thought this had been a solved pitfall decades ago.

Whenever anything Freenode-related appears I feel it should just act as a reminder to change your passwords if you used your nickserv password for anything else. Assume it has been compromised at this point.
