Hard to imagine that a trip to outer space with Jeff Bezos is worth less than half that of bragging rights to a single JPG:

JPG File Sells for $69 Million, as ‘NFT Mania’ Gathers Pace https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/11/arts/design/nft-auction-c...

1. NYT asks for money up front via that link. I've learned that for some journals, if you use a search engine to query for keywords in the title ("jpeg file sells for 69 million" in this case, without the double quotation marks) then you can click on the same link, but this time you get to read it for free!

2. As for the content, the art world is generally known for money laundering. I suspect that NFT will be used for money laundering as well.

Bitcoin will implode once it becomes an intolerable burden on the global financial system. I think greed is going to sink the network because there is already an "out of control" mentality present in its origin. There just isn't interest in converting bitcoin to a central bank...unless El Salvador wants to build it?

Do cocaine cartels use bitcoin?
