Yes, this is a really big shift in thinking. Some people despise selling, as selling often brings up images of being pushy, self-promoting and at some times even scammy.
I believe this often happens when you don't have enough confidence in your product. So talk to your customers. Give your product away to 20 people for free and ask customers how they feel about it. Because the day you start to genuinely believe that what you are selling is actually bettering the life of people is the day you start to love selling too.

I've spent so much time being shy about my product... Then I started getting angry at the fact that people bought from my competitors, even though they had an inferior product.
Made me realize that I had learn to convince them too, and do proper marketing. People need convincing and it's not a bad thing to try and "close" them.
What matters is that your product actually betters their lives.

In medicine, I believe, this is a large part of the reason for continuing education units.
