Ask HN: What are your favorite serif fonts?

What are your favorite serif fonts that have a clean and modern look? Some of my favorite fonts are Dubai (sans serif) and Cascadia Code (monospaced) but never found a good serif fonts. What is your pick, HN? Highly prefer free but open to good premium suggestions.
