I feel for people in the science profession that sees issues with how they handled COVID-19, but society in general has been trained to treat anyone that questions the narrative at this point as actual Nazis. The left will straight up assault people with intent to cause serious harm and feel like they are some antifascist democracy-loving hero without seeing the irony in their actions.

He's weird. I don't think he's alt right, that's a stretch, something about him and by extension the intellectual dark web, it just comes off as elitism pretending to be digestible , a bad new atheism leftover. But he does have that in common with left identifying folks who end up coming from rich or status quo backgrounds.
There's another phenomenon with Jimmy Dore: many on the right see him as on their side, even when he's not, because he criticizes establishment Democrats.
