Money and material possessions don’t mean anything. You hit a point where nothing you can buy has any impact on your life.

The man cave is just papering over the pointlessness of your existence because none of our existences have a point. We’re stardust in the universe.

Life becomes boring when you’ve done all the things and checked all the boxes society says you need to check.

You need to find meaning for yourself beyond money, things, maids and nannies.

You have two kids? Spend more time with them. Play with them, do projects with them, take them out to explore nature. That’s the time that you’ll actually look back on and remember.

Go out and run, or bike, or hike. Or whatever.

Get involved in your community somehow and meet people outside your bubble —- both tech and personal bubbles.

You have to make your own happiness because no one is going to do it for you.
