API for Next.js Application

Hey all!

So we have an internal API setup already using Next.js routes to get data in pages, on the client side using fetch. Are there any better solutions for this? The folder structure is getting complicated and we would rather have API routes in one file as opposed to a huge folder structure. Thanks for your time and help you can provide!
