Startup Question
Say an early team releases an MVP that is using an application with a backend as a service for their platform and the MVP starts to gain traction with a lot of users and activity. Do early teams at this stage just have to be willing to afford and spend money on the backend (backend as a service, servers, etc.) before raising money (it’s just something you have to figure out how to afford), or is there a better way to go about this? There are usually costs associated with hosting and application users/activity growing. This can even happen with an MVP testing for product-market fit when a team did not even raise money yet.
