Apparently he committed suicide, which is crazy.
The dude has put the HARD miles on his mind and body in the last twenty years. I find this news very sad.
I wish he had some more sense in him. And that he used a little less coke.

>Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: "We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself". I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm.

>I am content in here. I have friends. The food is good. All is well. Know that if I hang myself, a la Epstein, it will be no fault of mine.

This might have been very true at the time he tweeted, but if extradition was signed he may have had a change of heart and decided not to face the US justice system.
Plus, there's no indication he had any information that the government would need to kill him to keep secret. It was just tax evasion charges and maybe drug dealing.
Fair I guess, ideally you wouldn't say "I'll never kill myself and if I do I didn't" and then do it, but he probably wasn't the most stable and reliable person. It sucks if he really didn't do it because now it's pretty easy for any interested parties to make this argument.
