Ha nice, surprised Vancouver, WA isn’t on here
WA should be its own data point.
GA too. Surprised Athens, Sparta and Cairo didn't make the cut.

I guess he’s only doing places that are confused with another place within the US.

Edit: nope, there’s a North Pole, NY

And Paris, TX.
Arlington, TX is conspicuous by its absence…

Or should I say Arlington, VA, as the one in Texas has more residents.

Madrid, NM. Madrid, IA. Madrid, NE. Madrid, NY.
Passed through Washington, NC many times on my way to another dupe, Plymouth, NC. The locals call it “Little Washington”.
Lived in Albany in the SF Bay Area (East Bay, near Berkeley). Though they do have one in Georgia representing.
See also Richmond, Concord, and Newark. I always thought it was a little odd that the East Bay has so many fake state capitols.

Other Bay Area "other ones": Dublin, Brisbane, Pittsburg (missing the "h), and possibly San Jose (though it's arguably more widely known than the capitol of Puerto Rico).

Weird honorable mention goes to Menlo Park, which actually came first. Oddly, the New Jersey community, famous as Thomas Edison's base of operations, was named after the Bay Area town.

San Juan is the capital of Puerto Rico.

San José is the capital of Costa Rica, but there are also many other cities around the world with that name.

Damn, you're right. I knew I should have double checked.
Portland, Maine is a well-known city. Something like Portland, Connecticut would bave been better.
Naples in florida, and cairo / Betlehem also in PA ^^
Philadelphia, Tennessee, and Nashville, Pennsylvania would have made fun additions to the map.
Nice to see my town (White House, TN). Technically the house our town was called “The White House” before the White House in DC received its name.
