If the USA allows the deadheaded senior generals to run all arms of the armed forces, then the USA will face an adversary equipped with all manner of remote unmanned weapons, in the air ground and the sea that will cost less than 1% of what they destroy.
It is clear now that fighter drones can defeat piloted aircraft with their 8-9G limit. This is a radidly advancing field and the future is clear - autonomous drones that can hunt/kill without an OK from a pilot/management. The control loop can be jammed as well as being hopelessly slow in reaction speed. Advanced drones that react in 1/100 th of a second that have 30+ G acceleration can not be remote controlled.
