Delta Covid variant has new mutation called Delta+: Here’s what you need to know (cnbc.com)

Most people know the first two letters of the Greek alphabet, fewer know what comes after that. AFAIK it's "epsilon" after delta, not delta+

Joking aside, in my opinion this naming convention is useless and just leads to more confusion. What argument supported this naming convention at the WHO?
