I've always thought that a service to alert domain owners when the name servers change may be useful. It would be nice to get a SMS message if/when that happens. It may help to catch and prevent domain takeovers.

I imagine this tool could be really useful if you want to buy a domain if it expires. I’ve set calendar reminders to check if a domain has been renewed by its owner and have successfully acquired domains that way. Have you thought of adding a pricing tier to support that use case?
