Ask HN: Does Core NFC in iOS 15 support building fobs?

I want to have the key to my building in my phone, for a number of reasons like forgetting the keys or the fact the phone might already be in my hand when I get to the door.

I have a AWID 26 bit fob, and from what I read iPhones don't support 125Khz communication. Is that true?
