As someone who feels that the cinematic versions of Dune or Starship Troopers were not worth creating, I'm sceptical about any attempt to adapt Asimov's massively-scaled Foundation.

Any mention of the Second HN in that foretelling?
Starship Troopers ended up being a very Verhoeven production that was a straight-faced satire on militarism with many audiences not getting the joke.

Dune was a very Lynchian production with his memorable trappings.

Those adaptations were at least uplifted by auteur directors who made them their own. Remains to be seen if this one will do the same.

Possibly, in all history, the major author who wrote the most words about how he hated it when people spelled his name wrong.
It's like a splinter...within the article and its title.
