After seeing some uncurated examples here, it seems like this thing is mostly a "smooth" Stackoverflow search (as you kind of would expect from a large Transformer); at least things like that out-of-context MergeSort would seem to suggest that to me. Not that that is entirely useless, but I very much hope that this thing will never be used in anything safety-relevant and it falls a bit short of the promise of having a human-like "copilot". I would also wonder how this does in languages like C, where "winging it" is less of a possibility.
