Ask HN: Will Shopify Disrupt WordPress?

Was reading about the announcements Shopify made in their Unite 2021 conference[0]. It seems like they want to completely disrupt WordPress/WooCommerce by making the platform a lot more flexible and easy to use for developers and merchants alike.

What do y'all think? Will Shopify succeed in taking out good ol' WP?
