There's no need to reach towards a satirized portrayal of outdated and racist views about the religious differences on birth control
This is much like what we expect as white supremacist ideology fades and people have more freedom in their choice of whom to marry and have/raise children with.
As the article points out:
> As younger generations representing all racial and ethnic backgrounds come to grow and interact with each other, sharp racial lines between white, Latino or Hispanic, Black, Asian American, and other groups should begin to dissipate, at least from a demographic perspective. Already in 2015, nearly one in six new marriages were mixed race—a factor that will lead to even larger numbers of people who identify with more than one racial and cultural origin.
The concept of "race" is artificial.
Look at footnote 2, where “white population” pertain to white persons who do not also identify as Latino or Hispanic or other race and ethnic groups.".
No one identifying as bi-racial or multi-racial is classified as white.
Remember, it wasn't until the 1960s that Loving v. Virginia ended all race-based legal restrictions on marriage in the United States. Before then, anti-miscegenation laws in 17 states re-enforced social prejudices against mixed-race marriages. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-miscegenation_laws_in_the... reports "A 1958 Gallup poll showed that 94% of white Americans disapproved of interracial marriage.")
On the other hand, if racist restrictions preventing mixed-race couples from marrying are no longer in place, then of course we expect there to be fewer people who only have white ancestry.
This is all great for telling us how much of our ad spend should go to telemundo, but whites are already a minority of global population. The entire US should be declared a nature preserve, to protect the whiteys from these invasive species. Sad that the current administration isn't as ecologically conscious as its predecessor.
