Considering the video just below that statement showing a car with no interior, I am surprised that interior was barely 66 lbs off the official 4766 lbs weight figure for the Model S Plaid.

It is a phenomenal result, but it seems unlikely it is a result of a 4,700 lbs car.

Interiors don't weigh all that much being mostly fabrics, plastic and foam. A Pikes Peak quality roll cage is quite heavy. That said it's probably quite a bit under 4700 lbs, but according to Randy Pobst well above 4,000 lbs.
