How to add my address to Google Maps?

When searching for my address on Google maps it resolves it into another address (same street name, but 15 km away in a city). I tried to correct this using maps but this was rejected. This was 3 years ago. I tried again today, but it looks like same procedure which probably will be rejected as well.

Webshops can't resolve my address and suggest delivery to the other address. When they got it right the delivery people first go to the other address and call my confused that the name doesn't match.

Anything a mortal can do to fix this? Google doesn't appear to have any kind of user support besides community support.
