Extremely misleading headline. Correct headline is "average new housing has doubled the space let person since new housing built in 1973".

Title is incorrect and misleading. Living space per person has not doubled. What has doubled is ratio of (a) the living space of new houses to (b) the number of residents per house, calculated over all houses.
